Keri Noble
Keri Noble's another female singer/songwriter with a beautiful voice (there's a pattern here, I know). She's from Detroit and some reviewers compare her to Sarah McLachlan. I agree with that, but she's definitely darker and sadder than Sarah. Her debut record "Fearless" was released last March. Wow! What a beautiful voice. I don't know what it is but when I watched her video for "Talk to Me" I felt really let down. I didn't think the voice and the face went together very well. She sounds so mature and looks like such a strumpet! I guess I'll have to listen to some other tracks but "Look at Me" was a real treat. Thanks for the link!
She does look kind of strumpety with the blonde hair. I think she looks much better as a brunette (like moi, of course). Check out the pic on allmusic.com to see what I mean.
OH YEAH! That's more like it. That song is so wonderful it almost makes me tear up. Her voice is so powerful and her singing is so mature and emotional. I think this ("Look at Me") is my new favorite song. I've listened to it about a dozen times (at least). Thank you, thank you, thank you! I've got to hear more of her.
