South
South is a great band from England. Their sound is a mix of rock and electronica. All of the members of the band are multi-instrumentalists and were discovered by James Lavelle of UNKLE, one of my favorite bands. You can listen to all of the tracks from "With the Tides" at their website where the player automatically launches. There are also some MP3s you can download if you go to the downloads page. Buy "From Here On In" or "With the Tides".

Do you ever post just regular blogs or are all of them new artists deals?
Ronnie, the point of this blog is to introduce people to new artists they might not have heard of, so I won't be posting about anything else here.

Maybe you can post something about yourself. People usually want to know at least a little bit about the person from whom they're taking advice.

I think Chell's right. I think the blog would be more interesting if you posted more about a) your opinions of the music, and/or b) more about yourself.
I think your blog kicks ass! I am a music idiot and obviously if it's one of the mainstream bands being whored by the mega-jumbo-shite-peddling music companies, I'd have heard too much about them already. I like your focus on the maybe "not so mainstream" or "lesserknown" quality artists. I don't really care as much about you personally, because it's not the point of your blog. Keep up the excellent work. You ROCK!
p.s. I do care about you personally, I just understand your whole point here. I like it.
...almost forgot, this is a sweet band, I really like their sound.
