Goapele
Goapele is a singer from Oakland with an amazing voice. Her debut, "Even Closer", came out in 2002. She's definitely in the R&B/Soul genre, but has a distinctive sound. Her website has the whole album to stream plus the video for "Closer". Her second release is soon to be out and it's called "Change It All". Buy the cd.
