Fielding is a band from Long Beach and their music is indie/alternative rock. Their sound is reminiscent of Buffalo Tom. The band members are Kevin Poush, Aaron Bradford, Eric B., Beth B., and Adam F. Their self-titled debut album came out in October of this year. Check out their official site for more information. You can also buy the cd there.

I really like these guys. Nice pick, as usual.
I did notice that the download for Ray LaMontagne - Shelter (Live) only had about the first 10 seconds in it. The others were good picks too though.

Thanks for keeping up with the music scene for us! Merry Christmas to you and the family!

hey i've just discovered your blog for myself and think it kicks booty. i really like your taste, especially with amos lee, butterfly boucher and im-heap. you don't mind if i make some suggests for you to check-out?

1) Air- bit over played in commerical land but they do great on a rainy day or at the end of a party.

2) Summer Hymns- shameless plug for a friend of mine, but they are pretty good, there like one of those bands that never freak'n leave the recording studio and only do 1 song a month if they're lucky.

3) Arcade Fire- hope i'm not making you mad, but i think these canucks are pretty good.

4) Interpol- their second album picked up from the first and has been a college radio standard

5) Trouble Hubble- another college radio standard

6) Polyphonic Spree- ya that other cult from waco

i worked at a college radio station in athens ga until a few weeks ago when i got fired, something about party during my shift and a large hole appearing in the roof, but these were some of the more played/requested groups while i was there.

well, keep up the awesome blog. i will be sure to visit often, check-out more of your suggestions, and pass it along to others.

all the best,

Thanks so much for the feedback! It's always appreciated. I hope you come back soon and often. Maybe I'll get off my ass and start posting more frequently :-)
